PREMIERE: Boy Band — “Up From the Mud”

Don’t let the name fool you — Boy Band delivers a three-party harmony sonic boom courtesy of Ana Dratz, Jen Fischer, and HaleyJane Rose. “Up From the Mud” is a folk pop banger that forcefully pushes back against misogynistic detractors. The song could almost be sung a cappella; the voices are center stage here with the drum machine (which works quite well!) and guitars providing a subtle backdrop. “Up From the Mud” is the second single from the trio’s debut EP, Begin, out July 28th.
